TONY HAWK

Tony Hawk began skateboarding at the age of nine, when his brother gave him his first board. By 14, he turned pro and by 25, had won more than hundred competitions.

In 1992, Tony started his own skateboarding company, Birdhouse Projects, which has grown to become one of the largest skate companies in the world.

In 1998, he launched Hawk Clothing and partnered with Activision to create the Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game in 1999.

His passion project, the Tony Hawk Foundation, has donated more than $5M to help create over 550 skateboard parks.
